Terms and Conditions (T&C) – Studviz

Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the online platform Studviz, accessible at https://studviz.com.

Studviz allows registered users to create accounts, set up profiles, and communicate with other users via an internal messaging and chat function.

By registering and using Studviz, users agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Registration and User Account

(1) Certain features of Studviz require registration.

(2) Users must provide truthful and complete information.

(3) Each user may create only one account. Multiple accounts may be suspended or deleted.

(4) Login credentials must be kept confidential. Studviz is not liable for damages caused by unauthorized misuse unless caused by Studviz's intent or gross negligence.

Use of the Platform

(1) Studviz may only be used in compliance with applicable laws.

(2) In particular, it is prohibited to distribute illegal, offensive, discriminatory content, spam, advertising, malware, phishing links, or content that infringes third-party rights.

(3) Studviz reserves the right to remove content or suspend users in case of violations.

Messaging and Chat Function

(1) Studviz provides private messaging and chat functions.

(2) Messages are visible only to the participating users.

(3) Studviz is not responsible for user-generated chat content.

(4) In case of violations, Studviz may review, block, or delete messages as legally permitted.

User Content

(1) Users are solely responsible for the content they provide.

(2) By uploading content, users grant Studviz a non-exclusive, revocable right of use strictly necessary to operate and display the platform.

(3) Third-party rights must not be violated.

Suspension and Termination

(1) Studviz may suspend or delete accounts in case of serious or repeated violations.

(2) Users may delete their account at any time.

(3) After deletion, access to platform functions ends.

Liability

(1) For users acting as consumers, statutory liability provisions apply. Studviz shall be liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, Studviz is only liable in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations).

(2) No liability is assumed for user-generated content or external actions.

(3) Continuous availability is technically not guaranteed, but maintenance will be carried out with reasonable care.

Personal data is processed in accordance with Studviz’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://studviz.com/privacy

Changes to the Terms

Studviz may amend these Terms for valid reasons (e.g., changes in legislation or platform features). Registered users will be notified of changes in advance. If a user does not object to the changes within 4 weeks of notification, the amended terms shall be deemed accepted. Users will be explicitly informed of this consequence in the notification.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

(1) Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of the country of their habitual residence remain unaffected.

(2) To the extent permitted by law, the courts at the provider's registered office in Vienna, Austria, shall have jurisdiction. For consumers, statutory jurisdiction rules apply.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
